MyData Connector for Greek AADE Digital Books
The Greek tax authority (AADE) requires businesses to send their income and expense documents to the myDATA platform in real time or near real time. With the IdiconWeb MyData Connector, we integrate your invoicing system, ERP or e-shop with the official myDATA API so that your documents are transmitted correctly, classified properly and fully aligned with the latest tax rules.
Our connector handles the technical complexity of AADE specifications: document types, income and expense categories, VAT (FPA) codes, character types, series and required timestamps. You focus on issuing invoices and receipts as usual, while the connector takes care of the digital books.
This gives you a stable, compliant path to myDATA without having to rewrite your existing systems from scratch.
Direct API Connection with Your ERP and Invoicing System
The MyData Connector integrates with your existing ERP, invoicing software, POS or custom billing system via REST APIs, XML/JSON feeds or SQL views. From there, it communicates with the official AADE myDATA API using secure channels, tokens and the latest schema versions.
Every time you issue an invoice, credit note or retail receipt, the connector prepares the corresponding myDATA document, applies the correct VAT (FPA) codes, character types (income/expense, domestic/foreign, intra-community) and sends it to AADE. The unique myDATA mark is then stored back in your system so each document is fully traceable.
This end-to-end flow works with popular Greek ERPs such as SoftOne, Pylon, Entersoft, SingularLogic and custom platforms, but can also be adapted to your own in-house invoicing solution.
Correct VAT (FPA), Tax Categories and MyData Classifications
One of the most complex parts of myDATA is the correct mapping of VAT rates, tax exemptions, document types and income/expense categories. The IdiconWeb MyData Connector embeds these rules into configurable mapping tables so each line of your invoice is sent with the right classification.
We align your products, services and accounts with myDATA categories (e.g. wholesale, retail, intra-community, exports, fixed assets, expenses) and ensure that FPA rates, exemptions and withholding taxes are reflected accurately in the digital books.
When the legislation changes, we update the mappings and rules, so your system remains compliant without constant manual intervention from your accountant or IT department.
Error Handling, Reconciliation and Clear Reporting
If a document is rejected by AADE (for example due to wrong VAT code, missing field or invalid combination), the MyData Connector captures the error, shows a human-readable explanation and keeps the document in a pending queue until it is corrected and resent.
We provide reconciliation tools that compare your internal invoices with what has been accepted by myDATA, helping your accountant to identify differences early and close periods with confidence.
Dashboards and exports allow you to monitor submission status, per period or per series, and protect your business from penalties caused by late or incomplete reporting.
From E-Shop Checkout to AADE in One Flow
For online stores, we can link the e-shop checkout process with automatic invoice creation and myDATA submission. As soon as an order is finalised, the system issues the document, sends it to AADE, receives the myDATA mark and returns the invoice PDF or link to the customer.
The same logic can be extended to subscription platforms, booking engines, SaaS solutions and mobile applications, ensuring that every euro of revenue is recorded correctly in the digital books without manual steps.
